Choosing to breastfeed your new baby is an important decision for both you and your baby. WHO and UNICEF recommend feeding babies only breastmilk up until six months of age and continued breastfeeding for up to two years with complementary food and fluids. The longer you exclusively breastfeed, the greater the benefits for your baby.
